You will be joining a worldwide service provider and manufacturer of large- and small-scale building machinery. Providing equipment for a wide range of industries, such as construction, material handling, refrigeration and more, this company is continually growing, meaning there has never been a better time to jump on board!
This is an important role working based at the Biggleswade site Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm and will involve carrying out effective maintenance and repairs on all equipment brought into the workshop, making sure the quality standards are adhered to and that repairs are carried out in accordance with the timelines given.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Carries out routine pre-delivery inspections of new machines. Making sure fits are both factory approved and local supplied extras to machines where required. Modifies machines according to guidelines and specifications. Performs all forms of repair and servicing to machines. Ensures customer expectations are met by maintaining clear communication with the Workshop Supervisor This is just a summed-up list of responsibility and other duties will be required. Skills and Experience required:Experience working in a similar mechanically biased role.Able to read and work to Engineering drawings and specifications.Completed apprenticeship in mechanical engineering (or similar) equivalent to an NVQ Level 3 Ability to work alone or in a team.Able to use a wide range of machinery, equipment, and tools.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
