Service Transition Manager

We are looking for an experienced Service Transition Manager to oversee the transition of new and amended IT systems into live service for a major internal programme. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless implementation and support of new technologies within the organisation.

• Service Transition Management: Take daily ownership of service transition activities across the programme.
• Checklist Development: Create and maintain ITIL-based service acceptance checklists to ensure readiness.
• Collaboration with Build Teams: Engage with development teams to incorporate service transition requirements into the final product.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage risks and issues related to service transition.
• Status Tracking: Monitor and report on the status of service acceptance for all products.
• Seamless Transition: Ensure the smooth transition of new or updated products into live service with minimal disruption.
• Planning Participation: Participate in the planning of cutover and hypercare exercises.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Service Transition or Service Introduction Analyst.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong technical background with experience working alongside architects, development teams, and service providers.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage and engage with stakeholders effectively.
• ITIL Processes: Demonstrated experience in implementing and running ITIL processes.
• Project Exposure: Experience with large cutover and hypercare exercises.
• ServiceNow: Preferably have a working understanding of ServiceNow.
• Agile and Cloud: Preferably have experience with Agile methodologies and cloud-based delivery environments.
